HABC Level 2 emergency first aid
Course description
This certification was created for people who are already working in the sector, or who are about to start, and who have been recognized as being required to deliver first aid in the workplace by the company’s first aid risk assessment. Learners would normally receive this international qualification through a one-day training course (6 hours). The duties and responsibilities of a first-responder are discussed, as well as analyzing an incident, unresponsive victims (both breathing and not breathing), choking, shock, and minor injuries.
The Level 2 International Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is a certification that teaches learners the information, understanding, and abilities they’ll need to support emergency first aid in the workplace. The qualification is valid for three years following completion, after which learners are obliged to requalify. Annual refresher training is also required to ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained.
