Course description

Highfield Qualifications established and awards the Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering, which is part of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). Ofqual regulates the RQF, which is a qualification framework. The goal of this certificate is to prepare students for work in the catering industry or as a support function in the workplace.
Food safety is the responsibility of everyone engaged in the storage, preparation, cooking, serving, and handling of food, according to learners who obtain this certification. The Food Standards Agency considers its themes to be critical to sustaining excellent practice in the manufacture of safe food.
